St Petersburg: Day 3

Its really quite tiring to write blogs back to back.  So I've deliberately made myself take a weeks break to blog about my stay in St Petersburg and the rest of Russia till I've actually reached home in Miri, Sarawak.  I think I talked about staying with Marga-Rin who took me around St Petersburg with a cute little car and has a playful cat staying with her.  You see the pictures of the cat she was taking care of below.

Then the next day I went to look for Nastya who was as familiar with St Petersburg as someone who lived there for a month.  She is staying with another fellow couchsurfer in the suburbs of the city. I shared with her a meal and we watched Totoro on my laptop. We did try to look for a Soviet cafe but I think by the end of the day we were too tired to find it so we quickly took the Metro train just before rush hour traffic.

One of the very long escalator rides in the St Petersburg Metro station.
